Our Story
With over 30 years in the business, this local husband-and-wife team offers personalized sales, custom fabrication as well as installation and service expertise for carpeting including, hall/stair runners, area rugs and wall to wall carpeting. Complementing the carpet division, the company also offers Fine Hardwood, premium Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and aesthetic ancillary products and services to showcase our clients’ homes. Combining Eric’s craftsmanship with Darlene’s design touch results in a comfortable experience from beginning to end.
This experience is delivered from a local shop where customers can browse selections in an engaging environment and see samples of flooring that are completed in the onsite workroom. After reviewing materials, the ownership team and the customer continue the consultation at the customer’s home where ideas are exchanged and templates are developed. This method allows for accurate fittings and streamlined installations as in many cases the end product can be fully fabricated at the workshop saving time and money.
Showcase your home through fine craftsmanship and design!
Testimonials
Highly recommend! Great selection, knowledgeable, and timely service! Loving our new theater carpet and stairwell carpet!!
The job was to replace the master bedroom wall-to-wall carpet. Eric helped select colors, and materials. He explained the difference in carpet… material, quality & workmanship.
He is polite, knowledgeable, responsive, and has good communication on the job.
Eric is neat, efficient, works quickly, stays within budget, and is personally involved in every step of the job. Excellent workmanship too.
He adds that personal touch that the big box stores lack. If there is ever a stain or spill on the carpet, he will personally come back to fix it. This was a good experience & I will have him replace all the other carpets.
EJV did a terrific job at our home. Eric was an excellent worker who knew what he was doing. He cleaned up everything at the end of his long… working day. Thank you so much!
This entire process was seamless and pleasant. Eric
really helped us out of a jam and was great to work with.
He went out of his way to get us what… we needed and
he did a wonderful professional job. Plus he's a really nice guy!
We can't recommend him enough.
Eric did an amazing job in our home!! He completed the job in record time!!! Will definitely be calling him for future flooring projects!!
Absolutely great service. Highly recommended. Worked closely in determine best product - super accurate measurements so no waste. Clean and neat.
Definitely glad I went with EJV. Eric made the process so easy from start to finish. Showroom had a ton of samples and his recommendations helped… to pick what worked best for me. So happy with how the install turned out. I will definitely go with EJV when I need more work done.
Extremely happy working with Eric- smooth from start to finish-
He’s a total gentleman- job was finished on time and budget!!
What a wonderful experience. A friend recommend him and I'm so glad I contacted Eric. Eric was able to find me the perfect quality carpeting in my… price range. I purchased 5 rooms of carpeting and he was able to work with my time line. The best part is that Eric is personally involved in every aspect of the process. He personally does the installation and his work is guaranteed. My son spilled blue Gatorade on my 1 week old carpeting and Eric came to the "scene of the crime" and educated us on how to clean it. He is amazing. Big box stores don't have that personal touch. As long as he's around, you can call on him!
Eric did a fantastic job with his workers. We purchased an extremely expensive wool carpet and he did an absolutely perfect job, he was on time and… his pricing was very reasonable.

Eric of EJV re-did carpet in 2 of our bedrooms and added a beautiful runner to our 3 way staircase. I was personally skeptical of a runner on the… stairs but after seeing what Eric could do I was sold, and honestly I could not be happier with how they came out! My stairs are a beautiful showcase now and so warm and welcoming. Our newly carpeted bedrooms have such a fresh, warm, and comfortable feel now as well. The entire process was quick, but not rushed in any way, and so smooth. Eric provides attention to detail that is truly unmatched while being so kind and welcoming. He explained the difference in all the product styles while allowing us to make our own decisions. PS all the carpets he works with are so soft! He's extremely responsive as well as very open and honest. We honestly wish every contractor field had an Eric / EJV. You can tell he truly loves what he does and puts so much pride into the process and the finished product. Look no further for any flooring needs!!!
Wonderful workmanship and engagement with my wife on picking out carpet pattern and colors which worked extremely well in our older home. Eric was… very involved in process, professional and great to work with!
Eric is fantastic! He patiently explained my options and helped me choose the perfect carpet. The installation was flawless, and he went the extra… mile by binding & delivering leftover pieces for me to use.
Eric's professionalism and genuine care for customers is refreshing - he was responsive, reliable, and made sure everything was perfect. For quality work and exceptional service, I highly recommend EJV Flooring!
After our basement / laundry room was flooded due to a major leak, Eric replaced our old, damaged tile flooring with luxury vinyl. The installation… was perfect. We couldn't be happier with the job. Professional, friendly and expert work. You will be delighted with the results!

He and his team did a great job with the installation as well. Very clean and professional. Highly recommend EJV for your carpet needs. We will definitely be using EJV again when we are ready to do the runner on the stairs.
Thanks Again Eric!
This was the 2nd time we hired Eric for another house since he was amazing on the first go round and again he was exceptional. From him taking… measurements to going to see samples in his showroom, to install, he's a pros PRO. Super knowledgeable, great to work with, and no middle man or sales person in the way. Custom work also at better pricing due to above. He does everything in one building, his production shop is in with his showroom with all the samples. Ultra efficient. The quality of his production of the carpeting and then the install work is just second to none. Period. If you're getting flooring in a nice home or business and want to level up, see EJV Flooring!
Eric was professional and pleasant to work with. He traveled a distance, was timely, and flexible with allowing for changes during the planning and… decision-making process. His work was perfect. He ran a neat, clean job site.
Excellent personalized service. One-on-One appointments really allowed for Eric to guide us creatively. Beautiful showroom and installation was… flawless. We really enjoyed the process and result.
I can only echo the quality of service and quality of installation written in these other Google reviews. Working with Eric remotely initially and… then at my home, was efficient and worked incredibly well. Why? Eric has so much patience during the selection process. No pressure! And the install with a curved stairwell shows his expertise.
Eric did an amazing job installing our carpet! He was responsive and communicated well throughout the whole process. The carpet was installed quickly… and he even dropped off a matching mat. Highly recommend!
I’ll never go elsewhere for flooring needs. Eric was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He listened to what we were looking for and… together we found a great match. On instillation day he and his crew were very respectful to my property and home, cleaning up before they left. The quality of his product is fantastic and beautiful. We couldn’t be happier. If I only could figure out how to post a picture on here you could see for yourselves. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Delightful to work with and in my opinion a master craftsman. Thank you.
We found EJV Custom Flooring and Design by asking AI to search for five-star flooring companies in our area. AI has been hit or miss for us in the… past, but this time it led us to a great find!
